Grant Leeth is a former NCAA Division I All-American wrestler, Division I coach, and the founder of Heilung Technology Footwear—a brand born at the intersection of elite athleticism, resilience, and science-driven innovation.
A native of Fort Worth, Texas, Grant’s wrestling journey began at just 6 years old. His path to the highest level of collegiate athletics was anything but easy. During his time at the University of Missouri, Grant underwent seven surgeries, including procedures on his cervical spine, shoulder, and knees. Doctors questioned whether he’d ever return to the mat—but his relentless drive proved otherwise. Not only did Grant come back, he finished his college career as an NCAA All-American, competing on wrestling’s biggest stage with a body held together by grit and titanium.
After his competitive career, Grant transitioned to coaching, serving as an assistant at Stanford University before being named Head Coach at Tarleton State University, where he launched the first Division I wrestling program in Texas history. His unique perspective—as both an injured athlete and a builder of new programs—shaped his understanding of what athletes and professionals need to perform at their best.
That understanding led to Heilung.
Grant founded Heilung with one goal: to create the most comfortable, health-conscious dress shoe ever made. Inspired by the orthotic solutions he relied on during recovery, Heilung shoes are engineered with copper-threaded insoles, rocker outsoles, and full-grain leather uppers—merging style, science, and support.
Grant’s mission is simple: empower professionals to move better, feel better, and live better—without sacrificing style.
Luciano Arroyo is a former NCAA Division I wrestler at Stanford University, co-founder of Heilung Technology Footwear, and an entrepreneur with a deep interest in recovery-focused design and early-stage startups.
His passion for footwear began early—his father worked in the industry for decades, producing sneakers for a major footwear company. Growing up around factories, samples, and design conversations, shoes were always part of his world.
During his time at Stanford, Luciano underwent multiple knee surgeries, which made long hours in traditional dress shoes a constant challenge. Despite an active lifestyle, he struggled to find footwear that offered both comfort and style—especially something supportive enough to wear all day without flaring up pain.
That challenge led to the creation of Heilung. Alongside co-founder Grant Leeth, Luciano helped design a recovery-driven dress shoe that blends the function of athletic footwear with the look of formal wear. Built with orthopedic features like rocker soles and advanced insoles, Heilung is made for people who move hard and recover smarter.
Luciano currently works in the AI industry and brings his passion for problem-solving into every project. Heilung reflects his belief in designing practical solutions for real-life needs—especially when it comes to movement, comfort, and long-term health.
